The Lausitzring was only opened this century, and therefore ranks among Europe’s most modern circuits. Still, the track in the Lower Lausitz region is something of a classic, because only tradition-steeped venues such as Hockenheimring, Nürburgring and Norisring have hosted more DTM races. Fans will find first-class facilities at the Lausitzring, with the mighty main grandstand providing a view of almost the entire race track – although its highest point is not recommended for those without a head for heights! There are vast car parks close to the track, and the sheer size of the paddock is impressive, too. The area around the circuit includes many camp sites as camping at the Lausitzring is a cult activity. Party time!
